All members of the staff, students or other citizens are invited to submit a nomination of a person or organization for the Board’s consideration. All nominations should be forwarded to the Superintendent no later than Friday, May May 29, 2020.
This year the Washingtonville Central School District will hold their annual Budget Vote and Election on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
While an Esports Club has existed at Washingtonville High School (WHS) for seven years, it wasn’t until this year that the team moved to the PlayVS platform, making it an official High School Esports League.

The Washingtonville Central School District is proud to announce that Elissa Miller has been named valedictorian of the class of 2020, and Andrea Neporanny is this year’s salutatorian.These two students are not only the best and brightest when it comes to academics, but they have also left their marks in various sports and extracurricular activities.
Washingtonville is nestled in the iconic Hudson Valley, just west of the Hudson River and 60 miles north of New York City. It is the home of the Brotherhood Winery and only 20 minutes from West Point and Woodbury Commons. Our residents are passionate about their schools, which shows in the support they give each year to our academic, athletic, and arts programs.
Washingtonville offers Pre-K through Grade 12, serves a population of over 4,500 students, and is composed of three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The District is among the highest graduation rates in Orange County at 93 percent, 13 percentage points above the New York State average.
