On behalf of the Washingtonville Senior High School Foreign Language Honor Society, thank you to the Washingtonville Middle School students who participated in the 4th Annual MS Foreign Language Week Poster Contest.
From foam trees to tall platforms, the Washingtonville Middle School Set Crew is busy creating the scenes for the Drama Club’s production of “The Addams Family,” which will take place on March 27 and 28.
Students researched foods that typically accompany the festivities, and brought them into school to share.

Silver star, bronze star, and gold star awards were given to students who raised their grades from 3 points to more than 9 in Social Studies, Science, Math, and English.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Team Integrity teachers at Washingtonville Middle School gave valentines to students.
Washingtonville is nestled in the iconic Hudson Valley, just west of the Hudson River and 60 miles north of New York City. It is the home of the Brotherhood Winery and only 20 minutes from West Point and Woodbury Commons. Our residents are passionate about their schools, which shows in the support they give each year to our academic, athletic, and arts programs.
Washingtonville offers Pre-K through Grade 12, serves a population of over 4,500 students, and is composed of three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The District is among the highest graduation rates in Orange County at 93 percent, 13 percentage points above the New York State average.
