Congratulations to Washingtonville High School senior Joseph Whittle, who was awarded 3rd place out of all participants from varying Orange County high schools.

The WHS 21st Century Media Studies class recently learned about Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications, thanks to their classmate Ryan Sanchez’s project.

The Washingtonville High School Boys Swimming and Diving team dove right in at the Section 9 finals on Saturday, February 22.
The students, who are in Grades 10 to 12, have constructed Ferris wheels, swings, and more using Hummingbird Robotics Kits, which are comprised of lights, sensors, and motors, and allow students to build a robot out of any material.
During a recent home game, the Washingtonville High School Girls Varsity Basketball team honored its senior players.
The Washingtonville High School National Art Honor Society will host the fifth annual Empty Bowls Dinner and Fundraiser on Friday, March 20 from 5:30-7:30 PM at WHS. The event will benefit the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and the Country Kids Food Pantry.
