The Washingtonville JROTC will be hosting an emergency Blood Drive on May 21 in the Washingtonville High School library from 8 AM to 7 PM.

Some activities from the unit included sending birthday cards to WWII veteran Emile Valentine for his 100th birthday celebration (as per his virtual request), writing letters of gratitude to WWII veterans who were embarking on the Hudson Valley Honor Flight 22, and visits from various veterans who shared their experiences with the students.

The Washingtonville Central School District will be holding Kindergarten Registration for the 2019-2020 school year from March 4-7. Appointments are required. Please note that any student that is currently enrolled in the District UPK Program at Round Hill, English Rose, or Little Harvard does not need to be registered for Kindergarten. They will be automatically enrolled.

6th Grade Career Day

On Thursday, November 8th, the MS Guidance Department hosted Career Exploration Day for sixth grade students.  

WMS Students Help Honor the Veterans

The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring America's veterans for their sacrifices. Heroes from WWII, Korea and Vietnam are transported to Washington D.C. to visit and receive honors at the national monuments dedicated to the wars in which they fought. Several of Mrs. Daigle's Washingtonville Middle School students attended Mission 21 of the Hudson Valley Honor Flight on October 6 at Stewart International Airport.

MS PTO Spirit Wear fundraiser has started. The attached flyer was given out to all students. All orders and payment need to be handed in by November 1. Students can drop off their orders to Mrs. Lombardi in the main office. Additional order forms can be picked up from the main office.
