Students with Disabilities

The NYSED has safety net provisions for students with Disabilities (IEP, 504, Declass) to earn grades lower than 65 in order to receive a local diploma. The safety net also allows students in grade 12 with disabilities to take the RCT exam after the Regents exam to satisfy graduation requirements. An IEP diploma may be awarded by the Committee on Special Education for students who are eligible.
