As part of the Dignity for All Students Act, each District must appoint a District Level DASA Coordinator as well as Building Level DASA Coordinators, which is Mrs. Shaw at WHS. These people are appointed to help create an environment of respect and dignity for all students and to make sure there is a safe and supportive school climate where students can learn and where they are free from harassment and bullying of any kind. The coordinator will meet with the complainant and investigate their complaint. The complainant may wish to meet with someone else such as a principal or guidance counselor or a teacher. If so, that person is mandated to report the complainant to the Building Level Dignity Act Coordinator. For more information visit our District DASA page.
If you are having a physical with your own MD, you can download a copy of our school physical form AND the form for medication to be given in school from the "Health Office" folder in documents. Call or email any questions.
We encourage ALL parents, teachers, staff, administrators and students to become members of the PTSO. We realize that it is not possible for everyone to become actively involved in the PTSO.
