Dear Parents and Guardians, please review the End of School Year Letter about the last week of school. For students in grades Pre-K through 8, Friday June 22nd has been added as a full day of school as a make-up due to exceeding the maximum allowed snow days.

New York State ELA and Math Assessments

New York State ELA and Math Assessments this Spring using Computer Based Testing. Your child will have had an opportunity to participate in several practice tests to become familiar with the computer-based testing platform, item types, and response formats he or she will see on the New York State Assessments. If you or your child would like to review the computer-based practice test at home, the practice tests can be accessed from the following link: 
 
Adminstration of the New York State ELA and Math Assessments for the Middle School are different than what is printed on the District Calendar. Please make a note of this and mark your calendars according to the schedule below:

Congratulations to Jackson Vinarub!

Jackson Vinarub is the first 8th grade diver from Washingtonville to qualify for the state meet that is happening this Friday on Long Island. He will dive with 37 other divers from all over New York. We wish Jackson the best of luck! We are so proud of you!

2018 MS Ski and Snowboard Club Trip to Mountain Creek

The MS SKi and Snowboard club hit the slopes for some night skiing and snowboarding on Monday, January 29.  The club has its last trip to Mountain Creek Ski Resort on Monday, February 5, 2018.

Wizard Alumnus Ray Romulus Wins Grammy Awards!

 Ray Romulus won Grammy awards last night for producing Song of the Year and Best R&B Song for "That's What I Like" by Bruno Mars.  Ray is a Washingtonville graduate.  His mother Marie is a Teaching Assistant at the Middle School.  Congratulations to Ray!

Correction to Insert in District Calendar

Our District calendar for 2017-18 was sent out with an insert that contained an outdated version of the application for Free and Reduced Lunch.  The updated application can be downloaded by clicking HERE.   In addition, the application will be mailed to each household that received a calendar.  A new application must be completed each school year.
