Superintendent's Message Dear Washingtonville Central School District Residents, On behalf of all of our students and staff, thank you for your overwhelming support in our annual school budget vote and Board elections held on May 21, 2013. We deeply appreciate the time each of you took to understand the budget process, the challenges and the parameters. In addition, thank you for your input and questions at each stage of the budget process. We faced many difficult decisions in order to fashion a spending plan that balanced student opportunities with allowable resources. We recognize that not only did many residents attend one of the 17 budget presentations, but many followed us electronically, reviewing presentations on-line. Our on-line counter for this budget season recorded over 5,000 hits prior to the voting date. On behalf of the Board of Education and me, please know we appreciate all of your support.
