As we head into warmer weather and spring fever begins to set in for our Middle School students, I would ask that you read and review some rules.

 

1. Refer to page 14 of your student planners and review the Middle School Dress Code.  Students that are sent to the main office in violation of the dress code will be subject to a referral as per the Discipline Code of Conduct.

2. ALL electronic devices, phones, IPODS, and ear buds included MUST be put away and out of sight upon entering the school building.  Any adult reserves the right to confiscate your device if it is in plain view during regular school hours.  Consider this your first warning.

3. No hats or BANDANAS are allowed to be worn in school.  Bandanas MAY NOT be worn as headbands or worn as an accessory.  They are not permitted in school.

 

RULE ON WATER:

 

Students may be permitted to carry CLEAR WATER bottles only.  If the teacher asks that the student put it away during class then the student(s) must comply.  NO OTHER LIQUIDS can be carried around school.  NO OTHER LIQUIDS can leave the lunch room.  NO GLASS CONTAINERS.  Bottles must be CLEAR.

 NJHS study sessions are every Thursday in room 213 from 2:15 to 3:00. Don't forget to sign up by Wednesday afternoon outside room 213..

Attention all 6th, 7th and 8th grade Boys and Girls basketball players. The 16th annual Wizards basketball camp will be held June 24th thru June 28th at the high school this summer. This camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 4 thru 9 next year. Camp applications may be picked up in the Main Office. Registration will be limited to the first 90 campers. Each camper will receive a free customized Washingtonville Wizards basketball.  Don’t miss out. Please pick-up your application today in the main office.

 

There will be an informational meeting for any returning varsity girls swimmers and for any new student that is interested in varsity girls swimming for next school year. The meeting will be on Wednesday, May, 22 at 3:00 at the High School pool.

 

Wizard Book Club will meet Wednesday after school in the Library. This is the last meeting and party.
