Goals - 2010-2011

Goal #1: Student Success

To support and promote student success and achievement, as well as innovation and creativity.  To accomplish this the District recognizes the importance of attracting and retaining a highly qualified and diverse staff that is student centered, enthusiastic, and committed to professional excellence.

Goal #2:  Budget

To pass a school budget that is responsive to the community, supports academic success, and reflects the current economic challenges.

Goal #3:  Facilities

To continue to review the infrastructure of the District facilities with specific emphasis on developing a plan that upgrades the conditions of our three elementary schools and replaces our deteriorated portable classrooms.

Goal #4:  Support, Promote and Model the Tenets of Successful Customer Service

The Washingtonville Central School District recognizes that there are numerous customer sub-sets within any given school community, and that attention to customer service in the educational setting is a priority for all. It is our goal to serve all of our customers, students, faculty, staff, parents, guardians, community members and visitors, in a respectful and responsive manner at all times. Our goal is continuous and courteous communication, both verbal and/or written, and timely responsiveness. The District strives to create and/or maintain an inviting environment that is welcoming, positive, and open to all partners both inside and outside our District.
