Henn - Physical Education - Meet the Teachers

Hi. My name is Mrs. Mullady and this will be my 14th year teaching in Washingtonville. I am a graduate of Washingtonville High School and love teaching in this wonderful district! I taught PreK, Kindergarten, and fourth grade before making the switch to Physical Education. This year I will be sharing my time between Taft and Round Hill. I have many interests and hobbies, however my new goal is to try new things. This summer my husband and I went zip lining at Hunter Mountain and participated in the Warrior Dash at Windham Mountain. Both were very fun and exciting. I look forward to an active year and P.E. class and can't wait to play games together!

My name is Jon Wurster. This is my third year at Taft Elementary School. I graduated from Newburgh Free Academy where I participated in soccer, basketball, and baseball. I received my bachelor's degree from Springfield College in Massachusetts and was a pitcher for the baseball team. My hobbies include running, hiking, and being outdoors. I also enjoy spending time with my family. I have 4 nieces and 3 nephews. My favorite thing to do in the summer is travel to my family home in Florida where I get to go to the beach. This is Ms. Henn's 15th year teaching physcial education in Washingtonville. Prior to coming to Taft she taught at the high school for five years. She graduated from Port Jervis High School where she competed in tennis, basketball, softball, and soccer. She also played basketball at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. Ms. Henn enjoys running and has completed three marathons. Her hobbies include a number of outdoor activites including kayaking, hiking, biking, snowshoeing and skiing. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Jazz, her 5 nieces and nephew.
