Hurricane Sandy postponed our annual Taft Pumpkin Run to November 2nd this year.  Each year the races are open to any fourth and fifth grader who wishes to sign-up.  This year 57 girls and 103 boys participated in the races.  They ran approximately one mile around the Taft cross-country course.  In the boys' race, Harrison A. came in first place with a time of 6:28, Matthew S. came in second place with a time of 6:33.23, and Shane M. came in third place with a time of 6:33.55.  In the girls' race, Elissa M. came in first place with a time of 6:39, Catrina M. came in second place with a time of 6:41, and Maanasa H. came in third place with a time of 6:46. Congratulations to all the runners who participated in this year's race.  See 2012 Pumpkin Run Results below for the complete lists of runners and times.
