Wizard Fitness Challenge
The Wizard Fitness Challenge is a fitness and exercise challenge that our third, fourth and fifth grade students participate in each spring. The challenge consists of five different events; shuttle run, sit-ups, pull-ups/flexed arm hang, mile run and the sit and reach.
If students are able to perform at or above the 85th percentile on all five events they achieve the Gold fitness level. Scoring at or above the 50th percentile on all five events means they have achieved the Silver fitness level. Scoring below 50 percent on one or more of the events means they have scored at the participant level.
The challenge is used to show students areas of fitness that they excel in and areas that they can improve upon. At Round Hill we emphasize improvement and growth from year to year and encourage the students to give their best effort.
