Why so much homework?

 
 
 
Homework is given on a regular basis so you can practice the skills we covered in class. It must be done in pencil, on loose-leaf, using the proper heading and the homework number must be on it. Each homework assignment is worth 10 points.
 
4TH MARKING PERIOD HOMEWORK
 
All students are encouraged to check Google classroom on a regular basis for work and videos that have been posted.  Remember the best way to study math is to practice your skills daily for 15 minutes.

3/18 & 3/19:  Homework #6: Station Activity - Activity #1 - Solving a system of equations by graphing and analyzing its solutions.
 
3/20 & 3/21: Homework #7: Worksheet: "Understanding Systems" - chapter review sheet for unit test on Systems of equations.

                                                     check final answers in the back of your textbook
 
12/11 & 12/12: Homework #4: Think -Tac- Toe take home quiz 
 
12/13 & 12/15: Homework #5: Solving Linear Equations Chapter Review Packet - check your school email a copy was emailed home.
 
1/5 & 1/8: Homework #6:  Finish class notes packet on Linear vs. Non-linear functions all pages. Reviewed and collected in our next class.
 
1/9 & 1/10: Homework #7: Worksheet: "Graphs that tell a story."

10/24 & 10/25: Homework #7: Worksheet: "Multiply and Divide" using Scientific Notation. Check out the videos on Google Classroom if you need a brief review of what we covered in class.
 
10/27 & 10/30: Homework #8 Worksheet: "Add and Subtract" using Scientific Notation. 
Check out videos on Google Classroom if you need a brief review of the proper steps. 
 
10/31 & 11/1: Homework #9: "Unit Test: Scientific Notation Review Sheet" this is a great review for your test on 11/3 and/or 11/6. Remember you may also make a cheat sheet and bring it to the test.  Don't forget a pencil and calculator.
 
11/3 & 11/6: Homework #10: "Quarterly #1 Review Sheet".  Excellent practice for your quarterly exam which will be given on 11/8 & 11/9.
