WCSD Advocacy Committee
The Advocacy Committee was developed in the Spring of 2013. The committee is comprised of parents, WCSD staff members, WTA members, Board members and administrators. Our goal is to advocate both locally and in Albany issues that affect public education.

Recent Information
October 2017
Washingtonville Central School District, School Board presents two proposed resolutions to the New York State School Boards Association. These proposals aim to fully fund the Foundation Aid Formula and to provide meaningful reforms to the Tax Cap Levy Formula.

Next Meeting

The Advocacy Committee meets every month at 6:00 PM before the start of every B.O.E. Business meeting.  The meeting dates for the reminder of the year are as follows:

Monday, March 14
Wednesday, April 20 
Monday, May 16
Monday, June 13
All meetings are held in the library of the host school. All are welcomed to attend.
